THE CLASSIC
Tailored jacket & simple top - everything in neutrals |
ENTRY LEVEL CORPORATE
Want to make this more promotion ready? Change the tights for nylons, swap the peep toes for closed toe & add a smart well fitting jacket. |
PEPLUM
Dress pencil down with a peplum shell but be careful of what jacket you add. This is Dior BTW. |
This is Lanvin |
That 60s VIBE
DSquared2 |
TONAL
Pick colours that are next to each other on the colour wheel. |
FLORAL
TIP: A small floral in a fitted garment hides many lumps & bumps. |
Nothing says summer like a large scale floral. Here is is mixed with a mint gingham. For beginners mixers, keep the scale of the mixed prints different. |
PANELLED PRINT
Prints in vertical panels can take off pounds. BTW, the midriff may be the latest erogenous zone, but only for the young or very trim. |
SEQUINS
BTW, this rocks the graphic statement tee, the oversize clutch & the contrast pump. |
Another way to rock sequin pencil - with gingham skirt, chunky pearl necklace, statement bag with a high waist. |
EVENING
Keep the top a bit bare & loose and always satiny or silky. Add bling. |
EVERYTHING COMES IN DENIM
This one is Chanel. Dress it up with heels, a silky blouse & a sharp bag. Dress it down with flat, a tee & a casual bag. |
oh, and the BADLY FITTING PENCIL
Crumply around the waist & too loose around the sides. Naughty Zoe. |
I love pencil skirts, suits my narrow shape well adding curves where needed. I do struggle finding the right length and waist rise due to height deficiency though!!
